| the dark colour is Stylecraft Emperor, a dark purple. It didn't really photograph well. |
Hmmmmm, it is a snazzy little number (not so little actually). I don't think I've started a trend here, although it is very cosy and warm and cheers me up when I put it on and sit down to watch some TV after work.
The pattern is Angie's at Lemonddesucrette and it was super easy to do...
Now I'm sorting out the Spring blanket edging... it now consists of 228 squares and I am firstly tidying up the edge with double crochet before committing to anything else. I've also started a cushion cover to compliment the Spring blanket...

Such a beautiful creation! Always love the colors you use! That hint of black is perfect...it really "pops" the colors!

ReplyDeleteIt's turned out lovely and cozy!! Well done! x Pati
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! Can I be cheeky and ask how many starting chains you made? x
ReplyDeleteWow ! I love your poncho. I have that emperor yarn...it's a lovely shade in the flesh but a sod to photograph. I think it adds a great contrast to your poncho along with the red, gorgeous:0)
ReplyDeleteI would love to cuddle up in a poncho like that. I would say a poncho is better than a shawl as a shawl always falls off. With a poncho like this I could still serve screaming kids, jumping out of the sofa in the twinkle of a second and stay warm and cozy. Now you got me thinking of making myself one... Lovely. :D
ReplyDeleteI love this, its so cheerful and warm feeling. Your colors are very inspiring. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteooooooh! I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour poncho is so gorgeous! I adore how the red makes the rest of the colors pop and shine. I am trying to figure out the graphic pattern as I want to make ponchos for my daughters and I. Perhaps you have started a trend after all.
ReplyDeleteThat poncho is just adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteMuy lindo, hermosos los colores!!!
ReplyDeleteHasta la próxima, besos

ReplyDeleteTOTALLY INSPIRING AS ALWAYS. X
Saw the photo over at Flickr and nearly dropped over.:) Am making something rather similar, but of course it would be. Also completely inspired by Angie.
ReplyDeleteI really love yours. Beautiful colors!
Just as Vince says in the Mighty Boosh "it's impossible to be unhappy in a poncho". It must be very and snuggly for an evening on the sofa as well as nice to swoosh around the house in :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest poncho ever! :) I have been reading your blog for a while and wanted to say how totally fab it is! :) Berol x
