I've been spending waaaaaaaaay too much time on Pinterest... where I came across some rather fabulous crochet chairs, including this crochet deckchair. This deckchair is so wonderful I would happily have it in my living room...
This crochet armchair is a work of art:
I'd like to think one day I will attempt to re-upholster an armchair with crochet, but for now I will have to settle for throwing my WIP kaleidoscope blanket over one of my chairs.
The deckchair and armchair are fabulous, I imagine you would need a strong lining to the deckchair or you might end up with your derriere on the floor!
ReplyDeleteYour blanket gets more lovely every time I see it.

Hehe, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who drapes my crochet works in progress in different places to admire them from all different angles! And why not after all? Your blanket is growing so fast and looking ever so lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blanket, it's so bright and colourful.
ReplyDeletevery beautful! it's so colorful! like it so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving how your blanket is coming along! It's SOOOOOO pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI think your chair is fabulous, easily as lovely as the ones on Pinterest!
ReplyDeleteOh my I love that armchair!!..Your work is just wonderful..but I tell you that all the time..
ReplyDeleteI can't quit smiling after drooling over the crocheted arm chair, the deck chair is pretty awesome too - but that arm chair is a work of art. I don't think I could have that in my house. I'd never let anyone sit in it...lol.
ReplyDeleteKaleidoscope is beautiful! I started one of my own, but it's slow going since I've got a knitted sock project and a granny rectangle blanket on my hook and a butterfly quilt trying to take shape. I just love your blog - so many interesting and colorful inspirations are here.
The deckchair is just fantastic!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou caleidoscope was MADE for that chair!
ReplyDeleteThe deckchair appeared ± 2 months ago in a local magazine, "Ideas", and the name says it all. I have back-copies to 2005, you just can't throw it away! SO many ideas of things to do make, cook, bake etc. It's available in Afrikaans (Idees) and English. The website www.idees.co.za also has an English option. Also check it out on Facebook.
Sensacional, fica muito bonito, enriquece qualquer ambiente!

I pinned the deckchair too (and have now pinned the armchair - I really really want to make one!) Just got into pinterest and it is a real time vampire but I think it will change the way I work in the future.
ReplyDeleteYour blanket is coming along beautifully.
Wow that arm chair is AMAZING!! I have a tub chair that's crying out for a makeover but I'm not sure I'm ready to tackle something like that just yet. Love it :D
ReplyDeleteThe chairs are soooo beautiful! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe chairs are amazing but so is your blanket. The mesh of colors is fantastic. Gret job.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great post!!!! These are great pictures! and I love your K blanket..What method of attaching are you using....I love how each piece pops....are you just grabbing the outside (back Loop) ..I would love to know....it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYes, those chairs ARE beautiful. I quite agree. However your blanket is equally stunning.
ReplyDeleteLovely post.
The chairs are great! But I love your wip blanket across the chair just as much, and it will probably bill less over time than a real live crocheted chair. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
ReplyDeleteOlá, independente das cadeiras o seu trabalho é lindo. A mistura de cores feita por você é magnifica. Parabéns.
ReplyDeleteWoweee!!! Each chair is so beautiful and unique! And your pic fits right in alongside the others!! :)
ReplyDeleteJust a quick note to let you know that I pinned all three chairs a little bit ago and your chair has gotten the most repins by FAR!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of those chairs!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing, maybe I will start with work on the chairs...
